Hey everyone. It's Chloe from Chloe Pitterson Photography. This is the Live! Today we're gonna be covering a piece from the Reverent series. Every month, I plan to cover a live, do a live on a series that's highlighted that month. This month it's the Reverent series. And then today we'll be talking about a piece from the series titled “Reverent X”. 

Hey guys, yeah, so for this series, I've titled all the pieces by the name of the series, which is the Reverent series. So it starts with reverent and then I just kind of Used Roman Numerals, to order all the images. So that's the name of it. If you guys have a suggestion for a different name for this piece, please let me know below. 

Let's get started. Okay, so this piece is called Reverent X. This piece is part of the Reverent series in this series, there are 11 total pieces. The inspiration of this collection, the Reverence series, was created as a reminder that things and the process of creation takes time. It's a personal reminder to me that I share that Applied faith needs to, sorry, you need to be maintained when you're in the pursuit of creating things and for you to trust the inner voice that's guiding you like your intuition while you're doing things because even though outside external noises might contradict what you feel inside. It's really important for us to remember that we need to trust ourselves. And that's what this series is a reminder for, that's why you created it. That's what it reminds me of. 

This particular series, as I've said before in other lives, is a combination of self portraits and also portraits and photographs that I took, my really good friend Anne and the model. She's actually the model in this piece here today. And I wanted to talk a little bit about an aspect of this piece, but it's also something that is continued and shown throughout the entire series. That's the red gloves. 

The red gloves do have a lot of symbolism behind them and we'll start with the color. So the color red is symbolic of our root chakra and our root chakra is an energy center in our body. That center represents our sense of security and stability. Meanwhile, the hands for me, which are something that I use in a lot of other series, hold the symbolism that we can create whatever we want to create because our hands are responsible for physically creating things. So together the red gloves symbolize that we can create whatever we want to create and that we are safe to do. If that makes sense to you, that's what it reminds me of. For this particular piece, the Reverent X. It's available in two sizes. The first size is 20 x 30 and that's in inches. And it's an addition of 25 because the series is limited edition and the price for that is $1650. There's another size that's bigger and that's 30” x 54”, Sorry, x 45” inches. And that's in addition of 10 and that comes in at a price of $3715.
