A life well lived is a life in which we challenge ourselves to grow beyond what we know and into the greater visions we have for ourselves. Greater visions to become and embody more of what we are capable of and aspirations that we strive to achieve. Through our personal evolution and path, we find that the journey in our growth may seem overwhelming and at times we may question whether or not this is something that we should be doing. Because if it's this hard, maybe it's not meant to be? I think the phrase "it's not meant to be", has done more harm than good for many people who use it. The harm comes in us using it as a crutch to think that the universe will magically provide our dreams as we sit back and watch the show. Forgetting that the show can not go on without the main component, you, putting in necessary actions. I think what we ought to revert to instead of "maybe it's not meant to be'' is to dive deeper into what it is we really want. Because I believe that when we are hit with challenges, the challenges are there for us to dive deeper into ourselves and reinforce our "why's", re-strengthen our commitments to our journey and lift ourselves into the next level of our growth. That moment in which we lift ourselves, is the critical moment in which we become more than we were.
